Cloth Flapping in the Wind

In the Pursuit of Akashiyaki

There is a regional speciality called Akashiyaki. This is something akin to a pofferties but salty and with a piece of octopus inside. It is eaten dipped in a small bowl of dashi (a simple soup) and remotely reminds you of fluffy japanese omelettes. The more famous relative of the Akashiyaki is the Takoyaki, which actually originated from the Akashiyaki but has made a career on its own.

Behind this door with the cloth in front of it so merrily floating in the wind, the Akashiyaki was one of those waiting inside.
