There is this idea of “hunting for the Fuji”. Every time when I am in Japan and in the nearer vicinity of the Fuji-san it seems to be an odd desire to spot the iconic volcano. However, he is a bit moody and due to weather conditions it is sometimes difficult to see him if you are too far away. In Zushi, however, chances are quite high. And so when simply walking along towards the house of my aunt his silhouette catches my eye in the dust of the evening – reminding me of his distant presence.
FUJISAN, FUJISAN
An evening walk with distant greetings.
